Dr. Vinod Shah brings over 18 years of multidisciplinary leadership experience across the railways, metro, power, and urban infrastructure sectors. Currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Urban Infra Group, Dr. Shah is a recognized strategy and media professional known for his result-oriented approach and deep institutional insights.

A Legacy of Infrastructure Excellence

Dr. Shah’s career is defined by a unique blend of academic rigor and hands-on execution. He holds a Ph.D. in Mass Communication along with triple postgraduate qualifications in Business Administration, Journalism, and Urban Planning.

His professional journey includes:

  • Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (under MoHUA): Over 14 years of distinguished service in corporate communications and public relations, providing him with an intimate understanding of large-scale public infrastructure governance.
  • NTPC Limited: More than three years at India’s largest power utility, where he spearheaded employee development and capacity-building programs.
  • Urban Infra Group: Since 2017, he has led the group’s strategic vision, transforming it into India's leading knowledge platform for urban mobility and smart infrastructure.
