The Executive Council is the highest industry leadership platform of the Chamber of Railway Industries (Rail Chamber). It brings together visionary business leaders, policymakers, technical experts and institutions to strengthen India's railway ecosystem through collaboration, innovation and policy advocacy.

Each committee will also be supported by a nominated member of the Rail Chamber Advisory Board.

Selection Process

Executive Leadership positions shall be filled based on merit, leadership credentials, sectoral expertise, strategic alignment with the objectives of the Chamber, and the willingness of the Member Organization to make the prescribed Executive Leadership Contribution. The Contribution supports the Chamber's institutional activities and shall not, by itself, guarantee appointment to any leadership position. Final appointments shall be made solely at the discretion of the Board of Directors.

Eligible members are invited to submit an Executive Leadership Nomination Form (Expression of Interest).

Applications will be reviewed by the Board of Directors and Strategic Advisors based on organizational leadership, industry contribution, sector expertise and strategic vision.

The selected Executive Council will serve a two-year term commencing FY 2026-27.

The Founding Executive Council will be announced during the First Annual General Meeting on 10 October 2026.
