New Delhi, India (May 28, 2026): The Chamber of Railway Industries (“Rail Chamber”) and SM IndiaWelds Consultancy Pvt. Ltd. (“IndiaWelds”) today signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the IndiaWelds office in Faridabad to jointly promote technical excellence, workforce competency, innovation, and industrial capability development in the railway and manufacturing sectors.
The MoU was formally signed by Dr. Vinod Shah, Director General, Rail Chamber, and Ms. Sujata Sahay, Founder & CEO, IndiaWelds, in the presence of industry representatives and stakeholders.
The collaboration aims to create a strong platform connecting industry, academia, technology developers, manufacturers, MSMEs, and railway vendors for advancing welding technologies, manufacturing processes, skill development, and operational excellence within the railway ecosystem.
Under the partnership, both organizations will jointly work on:
