New Delhi, India (May 28, 2026): The Chamber of Railway Industries (Rail Chamber) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Srinivas Nanduri, a distinguished senior IRTS officer and transportation expert, to its Advisory Board.

Mr. Nanduri brings with him extensive leadership experience across urban mobility, freight transportation, logistics management, infrastructure planning, and energy transportation. He is currently associated with the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) as an Advisor, contributing to urban mobility and transportation solutions for one of India’s most significant metro rail networks.

Prior to this, he served as Director (Operations & Business Development) at the Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Limited (DFCCIL), where he played a key role in strengthening freight operations and strategic business initiatives for India’s transformative freight corridor programme.

Mr. Nanduri has also held senior leadership positions in India’s energy and logistics sectors, including serving as Executive Director – Fuel Transportation at NTPC, where he managed critical fuel logistics operations for India’s largest power generation company. He also served as Executive Director (Coal Movement) at The Singareni Collieries Company Limited, contributing towards efficient resource utilization and reliable coal transportation systems.

During his distinguished career with Indian Railways, Mr. Nanduri held several important positions in transportation planning, passenger operations, infrastructure management, and disaster management. His responsibilities included passenger transportation planning, train scheduling, infrastructure augmentation, coaching operations, and special train management. He also contributed significantly to capacity building and training while serving as Principal Head at ZRTI Bhuli.

Academically, Mr. Nanduri holds a Master’s degree from IARI, New Delhi, and a Bachelor’s degree from Agricultural College, Bapatla. He has also completed executive leadership and governance programmes at INSEAD, Singapore and The ICLIF Leadership & Governance Centre, Kuala Lumpur.
