The Railway Business Group (RBG) is a specialized division of L&T Construction, the construction and infrastructure arm of Larsen & Toubro, focused on delivering advanced railway and mass-transit infrastructure solutions. As an integrated engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) system integrator, RBG provides comprehensive concept-to-commissioning capabilities across high-speed rail, metro systems, mainline railways, and dedicated freight corridors. Its multidisciplinary expertise enables the execution of complex turnkey rail projects combining civil, track, electrification, signalling, telecommunications, and power systems.

RBG provides end-to-end design and engineering, track construction, railway electrification, signalling, telecommunications, and systems integration. Its capabilities include bridges, tunnels, ballastless track systems, traction substations, 25 kV AC and DC overhead electrification, switching stations, SCADA systems, relay and electronic interlocking, train detection, and automatic train protection technologies. The group also undertakes specialized high-speed railway track and electrification works.
